What can we say… NFT.NYC was an unforgettable event for WAX Studios and the entire crypto/NFT community.
As the organizers of NFT.NYC noted on its Twitter page, the convention was designed to “bring the NFT community together in NYC for debates, talks, and workshops” — but the conference delivered so much more than that!
With more than 6,000 passionate creators, builders, partners and fans in attendance, NFT.NYC was proof to the community and the world that NFTs are here to stay.
The following is a recap of the major highlights from this week.
Day One: William Quigley Takes Center Stage at Radio City Music Hall

Things kicked off with William Quigley taking the stage at Radio City Music Hall, where he captivated the audience with his presentation “NFT 2.0: the Evolution of Digital Assets from Gaming to Commerce.”
Post-presentation, one attendee said,” William has a way of explaining things and motivating the community like no other in the industry. It was such a pleasure to hear his perspective. It makes me more certain the industry is headed in the right direction.”
WAX Studios Takes Over Times Square
WAX Studios took over one of the most iconic public canvases — the electronic billboards of Times Square!

WAX Sponsored VIP Lunch at Bond 45
Next, it was on to Bond 45 in Times Square, where more than 350 community members gathered to enjoy delicious food and conversation. Attendees were greeted by life-sized cut-out Brawlers and snapped photos with them to share on their social feeds. The Blockchain Brawlers Fire and Fury Hot Sauce even made its grand debut.
William Quigley stopped by to meet with fans and influencers. It was the perfect opportunity and venue for William to connect with them one-on-one.
Exclusive WAX Mixer at Castell Rooftop Lounge in Times Square
Finally, it was on to Castell Rooftop Lounge for an unforgettable celebration with more than 200 guests in attendance.

The crowd enjoyed a casual fireside chat with William Quigley and Michael Rubinelli, moderated by Joel Comm of The Nifty Show. Collectively, they shared their wisdom on where they see the industry headed.
Day Two: The WAX Studios Booth Draws a Crowd
The WAX Studios booth welcomed countless excited fans from the community, many of which adamantly expressed their ideas and passions for creating on the blockchain, including high-profile brands, young game builders and legendary artists.
Upon learning about Blockchain Brawlers, there were many visitors who started their gameplay journey on the spot!
The WAX Studios booth was one of the most trafficked booths in the ballroom, and we have all been touched by our loyal and quickly growing community of supporters.
The Mattel group excited NFT collectors, as they worked the booth with our team in anticipation of the July 7 release of Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 3.
Day Three: Our Partners Were on Their A-Game
The third and final day was another huge success, not only for WAX Studios but for NFT.NYC as a whole. Show attendees immersed themselves in informative workshops, demoed new games and technologies and connected on the future of the industry.

Our partners Atomic Hub, bountyblok, Splinterlands, Novopangea, and numerous other sponsors (click here to see the full list) were on their A-game as the floor was packed and bustling beyond anyone’s expectations.
Heading up the WAX Studios booth was our all-star team fielding questions and enjoying meeting the community.

The collective WAX Studios team made NFT.NYC an unforgettable experience for the community we serve and the partners we are so thankful for.
Thank you to everyone who brought amazing energy to our booth and the events we hosted. Your questions, thoughts, support and kindness will further drive the WAX Studios team to create transformative products in the present and future.
If you weren’t able to visit NFT.NYC this year, we hope to see you next year! We can only imagine how epic it will be.
