The William Shatner x WAX series contains:

  • A maximum of 41,709 total cards — making it a very limited edition series!

  • 5 card rarities:
  • Base — Common cards. Each pack includes a “Life in Plastic” base card with a unique number on it that enters the card owner into a drawing for an ultra-rare action figure autographed by William Shatner! Check here for details on when the winning number will be announced.
  • Shimmer — Uncommon cards featuring a prismatic sheen effect
  • X-Ray — Rare cards that feature a black and white x-ray effect
  • Radiant (44) — Super Rare cards that feature special animations and effects

How to purchase card packs:

Visit to shatnercards.io and log in with your WAX Cloud Wallet account (create an account if you don’t have one already).Visit the Shop, select card packs that you wish to purchase, and complete the purchase using your credit card information. Note: there is a $9.98 minimum (two standard packs).

 

How to purchase individual cards or shards:

Visit a secondary marketplace (like shatner.market, simplemarket.io,collectables.io and others found here) and log in with your WAX Cloud Wallet account (create an account if you don’t have one already). Secondary markets only accept WAX (WAXP) Tokens as payment, you can read more about them here.

 

What you can do with your William Shatner x WAX card packs:

Once you have packs, you can:

  • Open the packs to reveal the cards and/or shards inside! To open your pack, visit your inventory page and click on a pack.
  • Sell the packs on a secondary marketplace (like shatner.market, simplemarket.io,collectables.io and others found here)
  • Trade or gift the packs to anyone else by visiting shatnercards.io/trades and clicking “Send Offer.” Then select the community member that you wish to trade with. Select the pack you wish to send from your inventory and if applicable, choose the items from your trading partner’s inventory that you wish to receive in return. Then click “Send Offer.” Your pending offers appear on the Trade page.
  • Keep the packs in your inventory for as long as you’d like!

 

What’s inside your William Shatner x WAX card packs:

Once you open your packs, you will reveal the cards and/or shards that are inside! To open your pack, visit your inventory page and click on a pack.Each pack includes a “Life in Plastic” base card with a unique number on it that enters the card owner into a drawing for an ultra-rare action figure autographed by William Shatner (check here for details on when the winning number will be announced), as well as other cards and/or shards.

 

What are shards?

Each Base*, Shimmer, and X-Ray cards are comprised of three different shards. When you combine the three matching shards for any given card, the full card and its rarity is revealed! The individual shards do not have rarities — when the three matching shards are combined, the rarity of the full card is revealed.

All Radiant and Golden Ticket cards are full cards (they do not require shards to reveal the full card).To combine your three matching shards into cards, visit your inventory page and click the “Click to Combine” button on a complete set of three shards. The shards will be burned and combined into a card, and the card’s rarity will then be revealed.

*The only base card that does not have shards is the “Life in Plastic” base card.

 

What you can do with your William Shatner x WAX cards and shards:

Want to combine your shard(s) into a full card but are missing a shard or two? You can buy missing shards on a secondary marketplace (like shatner.market, simplemarket.io,collectables.io and others found here). You can also buy and open more packs to get more shards.
