Big Boy got its name from one fan in particular — a chubby-cheeked six-year-old boy in droopy overalls. He would often help founder Bob Wian sweep up in exchange for a free burger. Wian decided to name the small hamburger stand in Glendale, California “Big Boy” in honor of his young friend.
The brand is celebrating their history and taking it back to their roots with the Big Boy Digital Pop!™ Collection.
